About Harry Esteve
Harry Esteve has been in the communications business in various forms for more than three decades. He covered state and national politics as a journalist for newspapers in Eugene and Portland. Before starting his own firm, he worked in marketing and communications for Portland State University and directed communications for Portland Public Schools and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality.
Harry specializes in clear, effective writing that gets to the heart of the issue without embellishment or cliché. His work as a journalist included covering the presidential campaigns of Bill Clinton, Mitt Romney, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. He also provided in-depth coverage of Oregon politics that involved a canoe trip on the North Santiam with Gov. Ted Kulongoski and a ride on a plane piloted by Gov. John Kitzhaber, who was working on getting his pilot’s license. Harry’s work has appeared in numerous publications and broadcasts, including “Morning Joe” with Chuck Todd and John Oliver’s “Last Week Tonight.”
